ANGRY scenes erupted today as Portsmouth City Council took the decision to suspend two parking zones in Southsea.

One furious resident berated Tory cabinet member for traffic, Cllr Ken Ellcome, just after he announced his intention to lift restrictions on what are known as the MB and MC schemes.
