THE council tax bill for West Sussex County Council will not go up this year.
Leaders at the Chichester-based authority voted to freeze the council’s share of the bill for the third year running. The agreed budget means that the average Band D council taxpayer will continue to pay £1,161.99 for services run by the county council.
Cllr Michael Brown, in charge of finance, said no new cuts are planned for the coming financial year.
