THE Pompey Beer Festival kicked off with an incredible first night.
The two day event, at the Guildhall, is showcasing a huge range of ales as well as some brilliant live music.
Last night was a sell-out and there are only a few tickets left for today.
Organiser Ben Miles said: ‘It’s going really well. We’ve got some great beers.
‘My favourite so far is Milk Stout by Bristol Beer Factory but we’ve also got lots of great local brewers such as Havant, Irving, Brew House and Oakleaf.’
Jeremy Evans, 42, from Cosham, said: ‘I’m really glad the beer festival is back.
‘I’m a big beer drinker and I can’t believe how many they’ve got. I won’t be trying all of them though!’
