A 65-YEAR-old man has died after collapsing at the wheel of his car following the end of this afternoon’s Pompey game.
The man is reported to have been taken ill as he was leaving the car park behind the Fratton end at about 5pm.
The ambulance service was quickly on the scene and attempted to resuscitate the man as they took him to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham, Portsmouth.
Police have confirmed that he later died. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
