Pompey supporters pulled a huge turkey wishbone in the hope of good luck.

The event was organised by the National Lottery to promote their record-breaking EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle - which they guarantee will make 25 people millionaires on Christmas Eve.

The group of Blues fans headed down to Fratton Park to pull the giant EuroMillions Raffle Christmas wishbone to summon some luck for the festive draw - and for three points on Boxing Day.

Tony Goodall, chairman of Pompey Independent Supporters Association, said: 'Christmas is always a magical time of year but we are all hoping that with this extra dose of luck it's going to be a real cracker this year.

'One million pounds and a win against Millwall on Boxing Day would certainly make it a Christmas worth celebrating.'
