Popular art show returns

SCORES of artists are taking part in an open art exhibition in Gosport.

Painters, photographers and sculptors have all submitted their work to the bi-annual exhibition at the Gosport Gallery.

Judges chose 128 pieces for the show out of hundreds of submissions.

Ian Latimer, a member of the Gosport Rotary Club panel which judges the entries, said: ‘We found selecting the final artworks incredibly difficult, with so many and such a high standard to choose from.

‘Gosport Rotary Club is proud to have been involved in such a stunning exhibition that really showcases local talent.’

Visitors are also being asked to vote for their favourite piece. The show runs from now until March 17 at the gallery in Walpole Road.
