THREE royal opera performances will be shown on a big screen.

The screen at Guildhall Square, in Portsmouth will be showing a live ballet as part of the series.

On June 7 between 7pm and 10.15pm people will be able to watch the Royal Ballet performing The Dream, an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The other two screenings are of the operas La Traviata, on July 4 at 7pm, and Turandot, on July 14 at 7.30pm.
