FIREFIGHTERS saved two tom cats after they were trapped on a roof for 24 hours.

Crews from Cosham were called to the roof of a house in North End Grove, North End, after the pets’ owner, who lived a few houses away, spotted them.

The team used ladders to save the pets, who were unharmed. Officials from The RSPCA also attended the incident, which happened at 10.30am last Friday.
