NORTH End Baptist Church in Portsmouth is flinging open its doors for a summer fair so residents can see what goes on inside.

The church, in Powerscourt Road, North End, Portsmouth, is holding the free event on Saturday, July 14 between 11am and 2pm. All are welcome to explore the church building and meet some of the church members – as well as finding out about the church, and social and community events that they and their families can be a part of such as Girls’ Brigade and Boys’ Brigade.

There will also be a number of stalls and displays to browse.

Church secretary Jayne Howard said: ‘We would love to meet you at our open day and summer fair and share more about what goes on behind the doors of our church building.’

The next morning, from 10.45am, there will also be a welcome day for visitors.
