Have your say

I was born in Devon and moved to the Portsmouth area with my family at the age of four.

Having come from a coastal area I have enjoyed the naval history of the city and went on to study the Tudor era to A-level alongside English literature and German.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching period dramas and movies.

I have a keen interest in art, design and music previously playing the trumpet.

In the future I hope to travel, work within print media and turn my hand to video and web .

I have also gathered experience working in retail part-time since the age of 16 which helped me learn a lot about communication and networking as well as a strong work ethic.

Both my parents have encouraged me to become actively involved within their working environments at a local school and within structured classroom days and helping with charitable events for ‘kids first’ .

I am looking forward to learning more about the community I live in and making new connections.
