AUDIENCE and choir members attending the Milton Glee Club’s Christmas Concert with the Band of HM Royal Marines at Portsmouth Guildhall donated over 100 toys.

The toys were delivered to the Roberts Centre in Portsmouth to be distributed to the children of families they have assisted this year.

The concert was attended by 1,400 people who enjoyed a varied programme of music and carols.

As a registered charity the Milton Glee Club aims to perform to local audiences and to keep the cost of attending concerts accessible to all.

The choir has donated more than £125,000 to good causes during its history.
