A TEN-day festival will be closing in style with a range of events.
Portsmouth Festivities ends tomorrow but before it finishes for another year, the festival has a lot more organised.
One of the highlights is a carnival today on Castle Field, Southsea.
The Keep On Rolling – Wheeled Carnival is inviting people to bring their bikes, scooters, motor scooters and other non-car vehicles to Southsea to get decorated.
Between 10am and 12pm local artists will be there to decorate the wheels in a carnival style.
Samantha Worsey, general manager of Portsmouth Festivities, is looking forward to the closing weekend.
She said: ‘We have really exciting events for the final weekend of the festivities.
‘We wanted to do something the community would enjoy and this free event should do just that.
‘It gives people the chance to discover new artists.’
As well as the carnival, people can enjoy an open day to an art studio and a recital by a world-famous trumpet soloist.
