SWEET-toothed hair stylists teamed up with customers to raise cash for worthy causes.
Staff at Toni & Guy hairdressers in Cascades Shopping Centre held a charity fundraiser day where all the money made from haircuts went towards Macmillan Cancer Support and a London hospital ward.
Staff wore their own clothes and sold home-made cup cakes during the all-day event. There was a raffle with small prizes and shop owners in Cascades were invited into the salon for a cup of tea and a cake. Assistant manager Tia Newman-Brooker said: ‘We’re not sure how much money was raised yet but it was a fantastic day. Lots of people commented on how good the cup cakes were.’
