PUB customers raised hundreds of pounds at an annual beer festival for a cause which looks after young people and their families.

The Winchester Arms, in Winchester Road, Buckland, put on the event during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

A total of £500 was raised for Binstead Community Centre, in Langley Road, Buckland.

Bands performed in the bar during the weekend.

Landlord Paul Fewings said: ‘Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great which stopped a few families coming out.

‘But that didn’t stop everyone who attended having a great time. I’m happy with the amount of money raised.’
