Autumn Budget: Who will be the winners and losers?

Portsmouth in Bloom is back and residents are being encourage to enter.

The annual competition is run by the city council and is open to all people and businesses. It is free to enter.

Categories range from hanging baskets or wall containers to allotments.

Closing date for entries is on June 28 and judging starts on the July 8.

Cllr Lee Hunt said: ‘Portsmouth may be a built-up city, but local people love to brighten up their homes and workplaces with plants.

‘We want to encourage them, because their efforts make Portsmouth a better place for everyone.’

Prizes will be presented at a ceremony in September.
