AN ARTS hub has been shortlisted for an award.
Portsmouth’s Hot Walls Studio has reached the finals of the Royal Institute of British Architects South 2017 Awards.
The site is one of 14 structures battling for the top prize.
Opened last year, the new site features 13 studios and has become a prime place for artists to showcase their work and skills in Portsmouth.
The studio, along with the other short-listed buildings, will be judged by a regional jury with the winning ones announced at an awards night and reception at Ascot Racecourse on Thursday, May 25.
Regional winners will be considered for a RIBA National Award in recognition of their architectural excellence, the results of which will be announced in June.
