TWO sisters are hosting a fundraising day this Sunday to raise money for the Tommy’s charity.

Katie Rafter, 25, of Stamshaw, and her sister Andrea Allison, 30, of Drayton, aim to raise £3,000 over the next three weeks before running the London Marathon.

Tommy’s charity funds research into premature births and stillborns, and is one close to the family’s heart.

Katie said: ‘My sister’s little boy was born six weeks prematurely. He was in a critical state when he was born. It’s quite a personal charity.’

The fundraising day will include a barbecue, bouncy castle, and even a sponsored leg wax. Support is greatly appreciated and all are welcome on Sunday, April 7 at The Manor House, Drayton.
