A VINTAGE bus service has been cancelled.

The City of Portsmouth Preserved Transport Depot normally runs a circular service on the last Sunday of each month between May and September.

It runs from the D-Day Museum in Southsea, linking Clarence Pier, The Hard, Eastney Beam House and the Royal Marines Museum in Eastney with the D-Day Museum, but it has now been cancelled on August 31 because of the museum car park being unavailable and because of road closures for the Wiggle triathlon.

A further service will run on September 28. It will be the last service of the year.

The organisers have apologised to people who wanted to use the service.
