WEDDINGS can now be held at a Portsmouth theatre.

The Groundlings Theatre is now licensed to hold the ceremonies.

The Georgian building is known for its quirky Dickensian café, unique sky ceilings and grand, theatrical costumes.

Richard Stride is the artistic director at the theatre. He said: ‘Working in a very creative environment gives us a fantastic opportunity to make someone’s day very special.’
