A RELIGIOUS financial support group is set to face its busiest day today.
Christians Against Poverty expects a record number of people to call its nationally-run debt counselling lines.
Ruth Hobbs, the manager at the Gosport branch said last year’s festive period is not the only reason why numbers have increased.
She said: ‘People fear losing their homes and creditors are constantly on the phone causing enormous stress – that doesn’t happen overnight.’
