Power has been restored to hundreds of homes who woke up to no electricity this morning due to a power failure.
At around 6am today 1,130 homes had no electricity, but all properties were connected by Southern Electric by 8am.
The energy board say they are still working on finding the cause for the power cut.
Sam O'Connor, spokesman for Southern Electric, said: 'By 8am all the power was restored to properties.
'Engineers are still investigating the cause of the fault, but it was a safety trip activated on the network, which caused the power failure.
'There are no on-going problems in the area, but engineers are looking into the cause of this fault.'
