A DOCUMENTARY about honour killing is to be shown in Portsmouth for the first time to raise charity cash.

Solent Feminist Network is raising money for international charity Womankind Worldwide by showing award-winning documentary Quest for Honor at Aspex Gallery in Gunwharf Quays.

The documentary was officially selected for the Sundance Film Festival in 2009.

It investigates the practice of honour killing in northern Iraq. The film features interviews with victims of attempted honour killings, the perpetrators, police, government officials and community leaders, providing a unique insight into the terrible practice. The film will be shown at 4.30pm on Saturday.
