QUIZ fans were tested on their knowledge of music at a charity night in Fareham over the weekend.

Customers at The Limes pub, in Catisfield Lane, helped to raise more than £200 for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

The pub has pulled in £1,100 for the charity since May.

Ale lovers contributed to the amount at a beer festival at the pub last weekend.

More than 12 real ales went through the taps. The winter beer festival was first introduced last year to mark landlady Darryl Downes’ 25th year in charge.
