THE main players in the future of fracking in the south will be part of an important public debate.

Transition Chichester has invited guests including Trevor Beattie, the chief executive of South Downs National Park Authority; Keith Taylor, an MEP for the south east; Tony Bosworth, from Friends of the Earth, and two independent oil and gas consultants.

The meeting is 7.30pm at St George’s Church, Cleveland Road, Chichester, on Thursday. The public are welcome to attend.
