Public welcome at cycle forum’s AGM

THE group which looks after the interests of cyclists across the area is holding its annual general meeting.

The Portsmouth Cycle Forum will meet for its AGM at Wiggle, in Northarbour, Cosham, on March 14 at 7.30pm.

Elections will be held for the posts of chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, treasurer and membership secretary.

Joe McGann, the current membership secretary, said: ‘We aim to make the forum as accountable and democratic as possible, and invite supporters to put themselves forward for these posts.

‘Executive meetings are generally held once a month to discuss relevant and topical issues related to the forum and cycling in general.

‘They need not be onerous or time-consuming jobs – only if you want them to be.’

If you wish to stand email ej@mcgannan.plus.com.
