A PUNK opera telling the story of one man’s conversion from crime to religion has been cancelled.

Borstal Boy is the story of Fareham man Dave Clarke’s life and was due to be performed at the Kings Theatre in Southsea on April 26. It has now been cancelled.

Dave still hopes a performance will go on in the future with some changes to the plot.

As reported, Dave wrote his book Converted on LSD Trip after a bad trip on the drug. He found religion and put crime behind him.
