TWO Fareham students had a ringside seat for Prime Minister’s Questions on a visit to Westminster.

Alison Romaine and Daniel Bunn, who attend Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh and live in Fareham, were guests of Fareham MP Suella Fernandes.

Ms Fernandes said she was delighted to show the pair around her place of work during Parliament Week.

She said: ‘I was delighted to mark Parliament Week by welcoming Alison and Daniel to the House of Commons, where they were able to watch Prime Minister’s Questions, after which I showed them around the most historic parts of the Palace of Westminster.

‘Parliament belongs to the people, and it’s very good news that it is now being made more open and accessible to people.

‘I am always willing to help arrange tours for local schools and other community groups, and to meet Fareham residents when they come here.’
