A NEW theatre company entertained children with a unique show.

Root and Wings, which was set up by Nicole Derham, has been working with the Groundlings Theatre in Kent Street, Old Portsmouth, to put on a Saturday show.

The company, which specialises in shows for a younger audience, performed Splosh! with actors from the theatre.

Nicole, artistic director for Roots and Wings, said: ‘We had a fantastic turn out and we hope the audience enjoyed it as much as we did.

‘There was lots of splashing around by audience members of all ages, as they joined the cast on stage after the show, as well as opportunities to draw pictures of things from the performance.’
