ONE of sailing’s leading lights will receive an OBE for services to the sport, young people and philanthropy.

Edward Leask, 67, of Southsea, will be honoured for his involvement with the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.

Emsworth’s John Jones also receives an OBE for his services to counter-terrorism working with the Home Office.

Paula Bartlett is honoured with an MBE for services to law and order and to the Portsmouth community.

Dr Richard Wilson, of Portsmouth, is also awarded an MBE for services to vulnerable children and bereaved people.
