A HORSE racing event saw six volunteers run rings around each other on wooden horses.
The game was created by staff at Shoefix, on High Street, Cosham as part of a charity fundraiser in aid of Cancer Research.
Workers from the store generated an impressive £1,065 for the charity at their fun event at Cosham Fire Station.
Around 80 people attended and donated funds through the sale of tickets, betting on the horses and an auction.
Organiser Tony Broom, owner of the shoe repair shop, said: ‘It was a brilliant night and was really well supported – we couldn’t have asked for more people to turn up.
‘Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and the amount of money we managed to raise was absolutely fantastic.’
