PEOPLE are being encouraged to run, cycle, walk or dance to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

The charity is holding a fun sports day in Gosport this weekend with static bikes, running machines and other games.

The aim of the day is to cover the distance between Gosport and John O’Groats – 720 miles. Organised by the charity’s Portsmouth fundraising group, the Gosport Memory Miles is being held at the leisure centre, off Forest Way.

The event is this Saturday from 11am to 3pm. To get involved collect a fundraising pack from the leisure centre.
