MEMBERS of a charity are planning to cycle the distance to Paris for Children in Need.

Enable Activity, which cares for disabled people in and around Portsmouth, will use static bikes borrowed from Southsea Fire Station for the 560km challenge.

The fundraiser, called #getPudseytoParis, will take place at Gunwharf Quays from 10.30am to 5.30pm on Friday.

There will also be a fireworks display at 7.15pm, and model Katie Price is expected to make an appearance.

That evening the Spinnaker Tower will be lit up purple and green to mark the charity’s 65th birthday.
