Fareham schools issue plea to minister over new funding formula

A DENMEAD residential home will host a summer fete today raising money to take residents on day trips.

Green Meadows in Green Lane, Denmead, hopes to raise funds to buy a minibus, which will allow staff to take its residents on trips outside the home.

Local businesses from Waterlooville have donated prizes for raffles as well as setting up stalls at the event.

Prior to the event, staff and volunteers have cleaned up the gardens around the home in preparation for visitors.

The fete starts at 10am with a different activities running through the day.
