Restaurant to get extension

A RESTAURANT is to be allowed to build an extension - but only if it does not block access to neighbouring buildings.

The Blue Cobra Indian restaurant, at 87 London Road, North End, will have the rear extension built despite concerns that it could block the entrance to the Learning Centre next door.

Planners approved the scheme after Portsmouth City Council planning officer Simon Barnett told them: 'The proposed alterations would not significantly impact on access to the Learning Centre.'
