Road closures in place over weekends on Eastern Road

ROAD closures will be in place on Eastern Road in Portsmouth, over two weekends while work on a bridge is carried out.

On October 7, the road will be shut to northbound traffic between Anchorage Road andEastern Road roundabout, from 9pm. At the same time, the southbound carriageway will be reduced to one lane. It will be reopened by 5am on October 10.

On October 14, the road will be closed to southbound traffic between Anchorage Road and Eastern Road roundabout, again from 9pm. The northbound carriageway will be reduced to one lane. The road will reopen in full at 5am on October 17.
