Motorists were diverted from a main road into Southsea after a collision involving a 56-year-old woman and a motorbike.

Officers were called to the scene at around 6pm tonight at Victoria Road North and closed the street.

There had been a collision involving a motorbike and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 56-year-old woman, suffered leg injuries and cuts to the head.

The motorcyclist was uninjured.

The road is now open.
