Seven vehicles were involved in a shunt and police said there were no reports of serious injuries.

The inner lane was closed, while the vehicles were recovered.

It was reopened at 8.35am.

Drivers are also being reminded to drive carefully, due to ice on the roads, which could cause skidding. There were warning signs today on the M27.
