WORK has begun on more than £30m of roadworks across West Sussex.
The county council’s Better Roads Programme is targeting rural and residential roads most in need of repair.
The cash will be spent over two years to improve the quality of these roads, which is almost double what the county council will spend on its annual road maintenance programme during that time.
A council spokesman said they had received emails from residents in the roads already worked on thanking them for the work.
In August 79 different places were targeted.
To find out if your road is due to be repaired, go to westsussexhighways.org/betterroads and type the name of your road into the search bar.
