A POP-ROCK band will be playing a gig to help raise funds for a centre in crisis.

Canadian duo Cherry Suede will be taking to the stage at the Ashcroft Arts Centre, in Fareham, in aid of the Rainbow Centre.

The Rainbow Centre supports children with cerebral palsy and adults with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease.

It put out a desperate plea to raise £150,000 last month.

It said if it did not reach the target, it would have to close. The cash has now been raised but the centre still needs support.

The gig takes place on May 31 from 7pm. Tickets cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door. To book call 01329 289500.
