A ROTARY club has raised thousands of pounds over a four-day collection drive.

The Rotary Club of Fareham collected the money during December at Sainsbury’s Broadcut and Fareham Shopping Centre.

The club raised a total of £3,122.37.

Collection coordinator Tony Cove said: ‘We wish to record our gratitude for the permissions to hold collection days and to thank the people of Fareham for their generosity.’

The money will be used to fund partnerships with the Stubbington Study Centre and St Francis Special School.
