A CHARITY collection raised enough money to pay for over 2,000 doses of polio vaccine.

The Rotary Club of Fareham Meon collected £402.76 at Sainsbury’s on Saturday, February 16 in aid of Rotary International’s campaign to eliminate polio.

It will hold another fundraising event on March 22 at Titchfield Festival Theatre.

The theatre has donated 100 seats at £10 each for a performance of Laburnum Grove.

Tickets available on the night, curtain up at 7.30pm.
