A RACY calendar featuring the wives and girlfriends of Royal Marines will set hearts racing for charity.

The 12 ladies launched their 2013 charity calendar in support of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.

It was held at the Royal Marines Museum in Eastney on Sunday.

The cheeky photos are aimed at cheering up the Royal Marines who are fighting on the front line, as well as raising money for the trust fund.

The calendar was produced by Becci Banfield and her friend Jenny Robey.

Becci, 25, from Cheltenham, said: ‘The calendar looks fantastic.

‘Our launch event went really well and we raised £4,000 on the night which is already more than we raised last year.

‘People have been so generous.

‘I came up with the idea because I was thinking about what we could do to raise some money for the charity and I decided to do something a bit different to your average run or sponsored walk.’
