Safety marshalls will be patrolling Gosport High Street over the festive period.
The Gosport Community Safety Partnership provided the marshalls during the summer, and they were found to reduce conflict between people.
The marshalls will patrol the streets to increase safety and help avoid drunken anti-social behaviour.
Councillor Mark Hook, chairman of Gosport Community Safety partnership, said: 'We don't want people going home after a great night out then suddenly becoming embroiled in a fracas at the taxi rank over who gets the next taxi home.
'So we are once again providing safety marshalls to oversee the rank and surrounding area at the bottom of the High Street near to the ferry, to make sure everyone gets home safe and sound.'
