A sUPERMARKET in Portsmouth is launching a year-long charity partnership at Fratton Park on September 13.

Customers at Sainsbury’s in London Road voted to support Sam’s Haven, which provides respite breaks for ill children being treated at QA Hospital and their families.

A party will be held from 3pm to 5pm at the Victory Suite for the children who use the charity.

They will present a cheque of £195 for their first fundraising total.
