A TITCHFIELD man who wrote a book about his great-grandmother has raised nearly £2,000 for charity.

Colin Wilkinson presented the profits from his book, entitled Rosetta, to the Portsmouth Samaritans.

The book, which features life in Portsmouth, has nearly sold out.
