MONEY was raised at a toy sale to benefit sufferers of cystic fibrosis.

Hundreds of toys, games and children’s books were up for grabs at Sarisbury Green Parish Rooms, in Barnes Lane, Sarisbury Green.

The sale was well-attended – also prompting a visit from the Mayor of Fareham, Cllr Trevor Cartwright – and took place on Saturday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

Entry to the event was free and all funds raised were donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The trust is a national UK charity which pays for research into the life-threatening disease and provides information and support for patients and families.
