A SCOOTER rider was hurt following a collision with a car during the rush hour period yesterday.

The incident involving a silver Vespa bike and a silver Renault Megane on the A32, near the junction between Gosport Road and Geoffrey Crescent, Fareham, happened at about 5.30pm.

The man riding the scooter suffered injuries which weren’t life-threatening.

Police and ambulance crews attended.

He was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, Portsmouth, for treatment.
