Scouting for leaders

MP PENNY Mordaunt has called on adults to step up and lead Scout groups after an inspirational meeting with a group in Cosham.
The Portsmouth North Tory’s comments came as she joined Scouts during their sponsored electric car racing challenge.
The youngsters achieved a staggering 105km in 24 hours to raise £1,000 to afford future scouting activities.
During her visit to the scout hut in Hawthorn Crescent, the MP said: ‘It’s exciting and offers a lot of opportunities. Scouting is a very positive experience with fantastic activities.’
