FROM climbing to rafting, Scouts enjoyed a weekend camp.

Over 50 Cub Scouts from Portsmouth had fun with their friends at the annual Sixers Camp.

At the camp, they learned about leadership as well as taking part in archery, climbing and rafting.

They were also given a range of cameras to record their time at camp.

Andrew Dane, eight, from the 61st North End Scout group said: ‘The best part of the camp was the climbing and getting to make loads of new friends.’

Paul Impey, volunteer manager for Cub Scouting in Portsmouth, added: ‘The camp was all about letting the young people develop their leadership skills while having fun.

‘It’s been great seeing them learn new skills.’
