TWO log boats are due to take to the water.

The mock Stone Age boats will be tested for the first time at the South Downs National Park.

People at Butser Ancient Farm have built the vessels from single logs using tools that would have been available 7,500 years ago.

They will be launched at Petersfield Heath Pond
on Saturday and Sunday at 11am.

It is part of the weekend’s Secrets of the Heath event.
